Progress and support
Time flies when you're busy! Added to that when you're resolved to catch up with unpacking from a move, trying to set up and keep up with your blog page, and struggling to build a website--well, time seems to take on the speed of light!
Oh, and I should have added this, regular home chores and fall gardening, since they're part of the picture too. |

Every day I find myself asking "How do they do it?" meaning of course, all my online friends, who seem to just smoothly flow along with everything. At present the answer to that question isn't clear. I can only make admiring guesses.
Midway through September my former bereavement group members hired a van and came to see me in my new digs and surroundings, by the ocean, where I now live. They set up their sleeping accommodations at a local motel, right on the ocean inlet. What happened after that, they described as a magical time.
The escape turned out to be three days of great fun, new discoveries about a place they had never visited before, connecting with each other in a way that they had not been able to do any time previously, and gaining a new perspective on their own lives.
Actually, it sounds weird, but their most important thing each week is to laugh together, and we sure did lots of that! Every week is a mini reunion with these folks, and they make the most of it.
A husband and wife team, both captains, go out fishing every day and have a line up waiting for the fish when they come home.
The fellowship of connecting together in a relaxing environment, such as we have in this small village, was just wonderful. We thought we knew each other well before this, but suddenly there was a whole new dimension to our enjoyment of the really special people in our lives.
