I know this is crazy. I’m already planning my balcony garden in Chilliwack. Crazy, because I’m more into veggies than flowers. Crazy, because I’m really chronologically way beyond starting all over again! One of the really challenging things about moving from our beloved Sunshine Coast in BC. was leaving my carefully nurtured garden. But the time to leave it to other, younger hands had come. Other responsibilities were on the horizon. |
I digress!
Even the creek water level is dropping rapidly. The duck residents spend most of their time upside down, no doubt feeding on the 200,000 salmon fry that were recently released into the creek by our fisheries folks.
We need rain badly.
Once done, you have a shiny surface, quite tacky initially, but it takes a few days to cure properly, depending on the outside temperatures. I love that you just clean with water, and it looks as though that mission is accomplished. The non-slip part is accomplished with mixing sand into it. It works, but I’m not yet used to the feel of it, when I walk barefoot.
